Tree management is an essential component of Landscaping. A landscape is only beautiful if the greenery is right. Having your trees in a great condition is the first step to have a great landscape. In this article, we will go over tree management practices offered by landscaping companies such as Florida Ltd. But before that, we have understand what we mean by Tree management.

The sole aim of managing trees is to have as many healthy trees as possible. Trimming their branches and keeping them in shape is secondary. If you want your garden to look aesthetic, you will have to manage your trees.

Sustainable practices

Landscape designers use sustainable practices while managing trees. One of the main component of sustainable practices at tree management is to have fertile soil for a solid foundation. Having good soil is essential for good greenery. This can be achieved by mulching mowers. Whatever waste is produced in the process of landscaping has to be recycled or reused in some way or the other. All landscape designers have a love for the environment and they don’t do anything to cause it harm.

Tree Pruning

Most landscaping companies have experts who specialize in taking care of different trees and making a place look greener than ever. Florida Ltd is no different. They have experts who maintain and care for trees. They initiate several processes.

Crown Cleaning: This process is the removal of dead and decaying matter. It is done to make the place look more attractive. Dead branches are an eye sore and landscape designers don’t want dead branches in their landscapes.

Crown Thinning: This process alters the density of the tree and improves airflow. After thinning, even lighting is increased. This is done to make the trees look more aesthetic.

Crown reduction: This is done to reduce the height and width of the tree. It is possible that a tree might grow too large and interfere with buildings nearby. Thus, landscape designers do crown reduction.

Crown raising: Some trees have very low branches and that makes the passage of traffic below them impossible. Thus, in crown raising, landscape designers cut off the lower branches of the tree so that vehicles can easily pass under that particular tree.

Water and irrigation management

It’s a well-known fact that we’re running out of water. Thus, companies like Florida Ltd offer their clients trees and plants that consume less water. That increases their chances of survival. Moreover, there is also no need to water them regularly.

A service to the environment

Tree management is a service to the environment. It is our responsibility to look after trees which provide us with oxygen and many other resources. Thus, tree management is at the heart of many landscaping companies such as Florida Ltd. Tree management is a science and companies like Florida Ltd. have experts which specialize in just that science.
